The Friends of George Ward Park, a group formed to preserve and expand green space in the Glen Iris neighborhood, is holding a raffle benefit. Here are the details:

Only 500 tickets will be sold (and less than 50 are left!)
Donate for a chance to win one of two great prizes:
The first drawing will be for a $500 gas card!!!
The second drawing will be for $500 worth of groceries delivered from wwww.redmountainmarket.com!

$5 - 1 ticket
$25 - 6 tickets
$50 - 13 tickets

The drawings will be held on Nov. 10, 2008, at 5:30 p.m., and the winners will be posted at www.friendsofgeorgewardpark.org.
